“Agro-food Sustainability: Nutrition and Safety”

Under Pillar 4, CSEIA undertakes study and research activities on topics related to the improvement of health and well-being in the context of the new challenges posed by the increase of the World’s population. In this respect, specific attention is paid not only to the European context, but also, more generally, to the global scenario, with particular regard to developing Countries and Countries with emerging economies. Research and educational activities benefit from the interaction with other bodies and institutions working in the field of agro-food safety and sustainability in and around Parma, among which, in particular, the European Food Safety Authority.
