“Biolaw and Bioethics: A European and International Dialogue”

Coordinator: Prof. Antonio D’Aloia

Under Pillar 2, CSEIA undertakes research activity and spread scientific results in the areas of biolaw and bioethics, pursuant to a comparative and multidisciplinary approach. As far as research is concerned, specific attention is paid to the comparison of different legal systems and to the efforts undertaken at the European and international level in order to harmonize legislations in this specific sector. The presentation of scientific results involves the organization of training activities aimed at transferring methodologies and instruments, which are necessary to tackle some of the most arduous challenges posed by the development of life sciences, as well as to foster public debate on the topic.
